An Ecotherapy session
will be held on the Ferns Heritage Trail
on Saturday, November 5th at 3pm
The session will be conducted by David Staunton of Walk Inniu (www.walkinniu.ie). David has worked extensively with services in Dublin, including supporting people affected by homelessness, addiction and poor mental health. David strongly believes in the growth, healing and learning benefits of working with nature. The workshop is for over 18s and will last approximately 2 at a cost of €5pp, payable on the day.
Wexford Walking Trail received Lottery funding to put on these ecotherapy sessions which fit with our commitment to promoting the benefits of walking from a holistic perspective. The idea of the ecotherapy session is to focus on exploring how nature can effectively guide us towards better health, while increasing our resilience and helping us to reduce our stress levels. David will conduct the session in a relaxed and enjoyable ‘walk and talk’ style, with participants being encouraged to engage.
Please book in advance by ringing or text your name to 087-4189740. Meet at 3pm at the car park adjacent to St. Edan's Cathedral.
