May
Ferns Area Community Games AGM
will take place on Thursday,
3rd May in the Courtyard, Ferns at 8.30p.m. It is vitally important that people attend the AGM as the present Committee will be standing down and unless new people come on board, the Ferns Area Community Games will cease to exist. So again, please come on the night if you want to keep community games alive in the Ferns area.
Motocross
The SC Youth MX will take place on
May 5th and the SC Adult MX on
May 6th in the Motocross grounds on Clone Rd. Events start at 11a.m.
Coffee Morning
at Jamesons of Rockspring on May 12th from 10a.m. to 1p.m. For directions, see posters in local shops. Enjoy a walk in beautiful gardens, relax over a cup of tea/coffee while also supporting Ferns Tidy Towns. Proceeds of the morning will go to the many projects undertaken by the group. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
Meals on Wheels
fundraiser in The Courtyard on
May 12th. Featuring Run for Cover and a host of local talent and a guest appearance from The Voice of Ireland's Kiera Byrne. Admisison is €5 with door and raffle prizes. A great night's entertainment will be had.
Ballycarney Charity 10K
A 10k road race will be held on
May 12th in aid of Oxfam Ireland.The event has a permit from Athletics Ireland. Runners of all ability are welcome. they want to get as many people as possible taking part to raise funds for Oxfam. Meet in Ballycarney at 3p.m. Contact Jane 087-6799490 or www.runireland.com. Refreshments and prizegiving in the Ballycarney Inn afterwards.
Wexford Fleadh Ceoil
to be held in Ferns Community Centre on

Ferns Dramatic Society
AGM will take place on Wednesday, May 23rd in Ferns Community Centre at 8p.m.
Drake University Choir.
St. Aidan's Parish Ferns would like to welcome The Drake University Choir from Iowa, USA, who will be performing on Thursday,
May 24th in St. Aidan's Church at 8p.m. Entrance is free and a collection will be held at the end of the performance.

Yoga at The Barn
The Old Deanery, Ferns. 5 week classes - €50. Booking essential as places are limited. Tuesdays 11a.m. Flow Yoga; Tuesdays 7p.m. Ashtanga Yoga; Wednesdays 7p.m. Yoga Fit; Therapeutic Yoga - call 087-3202660 for more information. Classes are given by Erika Behringer, a certified Yoga teacher with 30 years experience, trained and certified in Ayurveda Hospital in India.

Calling young players!
All young hrulers nad footballers - training for under 6; under 8 and under 10 players is now taking place on Ferns St. Aidan's GAA Club grounds each Thursday night from 7p.m. All are welcome - just come along or if you prefer ring Padraig Dunbar in advance for under 6 and under 8 sessions (086-4094067) or George Warren re under 10s (087-9224740).
Weekly Bereavement Support Group
A non profit weekly support group for bereavement is facilitated voluntarily by a qualified Counsellor. Meetings in St. Aidan's Monastery, Ferns every thursday from 7 to 9p.m. For further details contact Julie at 087-7900989.
Ferns Toddler Group
Every Tuesday Main Hall, Ferns Community Centre 10 to 12 noon. Come along, allow the children to play. Adults can enjoy a cup of tea and a chat. Bingo Fundraiser

Traditional Irish Music Lessons

Clonee Ladies Football
Under 10 and Under 12 leagues starting shortly, all new players welcome. Training in Clonee for underage teams from 6.15p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday. Training for adult teams from 7p.m each week Tuesday and Thursday. All new players welcome.

June 30th, starting at 11a.m on the Motocross track on Clone Rd.

Ferns St. Luke's Sportive
This charity cycle in aid of St. Luke's will take place on
July 22nd. Enjoy a leisurely round trip cycle, starting from the GAA pitch. Details to follow.
Doran's Bridge Horseshoe Club
