Bereavement Support

A bereavement support group will be held in St. Aidan's Monastery, Ferns every Thursday from 7 - 9p.m. This will be run by a qualified counsellor. For further information please ring Julie on 087-1359544

Irish Classes

Classes in Irish, which started before Christmas, will resume at the same venue at 7.30p.m. on Monday, January 9th, 2012. Further information from: Ferns Parish Office 9366514.

Dochas Nasamu

This is an Irish run and Irish built orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya. They are holding a used clothing appeal of ladies, gents and childrens clothes, shoes, household linen i.e. towels, sheets, blankets. Also soft toys, handbags etc for the orphans and their extended families. This appeal will take place on Thursday, January 12th - before 12 noon at Ferns Church grounds.

Ferns Active Businesses (FAB)

This is a new group recently set up to try to improve the profile of businesses in the Ferns locality, and also to try and get locals to ‘shop local’. FAB have organised a demonstration on how to use Facebook on Thursday 12th January at 8pm in The Courtyard, Ferns. Find out more on the night.

Tombrack Ladies Club

The next meeting of Tombrack Ladies Club takes place on Thursday, January 12th at 8p.m. in Tombrack Hall.

Nu Edge Dance School

Classes resume on Friday, January 13th.

FCJ Bunclody Enrolment Night for Parents only

will be held on Wednesday, January 18th at 8p.m. in the FCJ Gym. Parents must have Student PPS No's at this meeting. Parents should attend the Wednesday Application for Enrolment Evening without their child. An information night for parents and students will be held on Thursday, January 26th. Attendance on both nights is a requirement.

Ferns Senior Citizens Christmas Party

will be held on Sunday, February 19th at 12.30p.m. in The Courtyard.

Ferns & District Active Retirement

will hold a demonstration of Bowling in the Community Centre on January 24th at 2.30p.m. with a view to adding it to their activities. All are welcome.
