Ferns United AFC

Ferns United soccer club are holding their annual AGM on Thursday, April 5th at 8.30p.m. in The Thatch. All are welcome. Parents of all underage teams are more than welcome to attend as it would be nice to have some new faces and maybe some new ideas brought into an ever expanding club.

Boxing Club

Saint Aidan's Boxing Club Ferns will hold the Michael Andrews Tournament in The Courtyard on Easter Sunday, April 8th at 8p.m. sharp.

Motocross

The Youth Open Invitation Event will take place at Clone Rd, Ferns on April 7th. The MCI Southern Centre will take place on April 8th and the U.21 + Over 35 MX Championships on April 9th. All events start at 11a.m.

Ferns St. Aidans

GAA Club will launch its history book 'Ferns St. Aidans - the first 125 Years' and accompanying DVD 'From Local Fields to Here and Now' in The Courtyard at 8p.m. on Friday, April 20th. The package of book and DVD together will retail for just €20 They will be available for sale from 8p.m. onwards. Please note because of football championship game now being fixed for that night, the formal launch is not expected to take place until approx 10p.m. All are welcome.

Ferns Active Retirement

plan a day out on April 24th. In the morning they plan to visit Casltecomer Discovery Park, in the afternoon they will visit Rothe House & Gardens in Kilkenny and on the way home, a meal in The Lord Bagnal, Leighlinbridge.

Spring Clean

Can you give an hour of your time on Saturday, April 28th. Ferns Tidy Towns is organising a spring clean of approach roads to Ferns including: Gorey Rd; Enniscorthy Rd; Clone Rd; Station Rd; Carnew Rd and Bunclody Rd. We will meet at the Community Centre at 11 a.m. to distribute bags, gloves etc. We would appreciate all the help we can get.
