Ferns Heritage Conference 2017

This year's conference will take place in St. Edan's Cathedral, Ferns


Title of Conference: 'A new way or the Norman way? Continuity and change in post Norman Ireland'. ferns_heritage_conference_2017.jpg

Two day conference exploring the wider influence of the Normans on Ireland, including landscape, social structure, food and medicine amongst others. Full day lectures on Saturday, and an outdoor session on Sunday. A unique opportunity to hear from some of Ireland's foremost historians and archaeologists, all in the very special setting of St. Edan's Cathedral, reputedly the smallest Cathedral in Europe.

Conference Costs:

Conference fee 30 (including lunch). Optional extras include an outdoor session on Sunday.
