From Pollution to Solution

Burning household waste is much worse than binning it. As well as being illegal, almost all backyard burning releases harmful toxins into our air, food and water. Which means, as well as the environment, your health is at risk too!
There is an alternative:
Offer unwanted toys, furniture and clothing to charity
Offer unwanted books and magazines to hospitals or community centres
Separate recyclable items and either have them ready for collection or take them to your nearest Recycling Centre
Compost organic waste such as vegetable peelings and garden cuttings.
